Beloved father and husband, Richard Andriolo, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017, at the age of 77. Richard was born to Joe and Jenny Andriolo in Bozeman, Montana, on Aug. 15, 1939, the second of three children. He grew up in the company town of Trident, Montana. His father worked at the cement plant as an electrician and his mother ran the post office. He graduated from Three Forks High School.

Richard attended college at the University of Montana where he began the journey to achieve his goal of becoming an attorney. He graduated from the University of Montana Law School in 1963. While attending the University, Richard met the love of his life, Sharon Rhodes. They were married on Aug. 30, 1959, in Stevensville, Montana. Richard became a father the following year when his oldest son, Ron, was born. Richard finished law school while also taking great pride in being a father.

Richard began his legal career with the United States Army and moved his family to Washington, D.C., to work at the Pentagon for the Judge Advocate General’s Office. His family grew while in D.C. when daughter, Laura, and son, Kevin, were born. Following this service to his country, Richard went into private practice as an attorney in Bozeman, where his daughter, Maria, joined the family. Richard truly loved his career practicing law, which he did with great skill and integrity. Along the way he made many great friends in the community.

Richard was truly a family man. His wife, children, and grandchildren meant the world to him. He loved to take his family on trips and have them enjoy the Montana outdoors. The hobbies he came to enjoy the most were skiing and golfing. He treasured his weekly golf game with his friends and colleagues.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; his children, Ron and Jane Andriolo, Laura Moulton, Kevin and Katie Andriolo, Maria and Tony Titus; brother, Mike and Diana Andriolo; along with his grandchildren, Jessie (Denny), Joe (Morgan), Cole, Dashiell, Tyrell (Allie), Traven (Laura Ann), Delayne (Marcus), Greg, Jack, and Andrew, who were all his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his by mother and father; sister, Norma Andriolo; and son-in-law, Russell Moulton.

Richard will always be remembered as an exemplary father, grandfather, and loving husband. He will be forever with us in memory.
