Brad was born December 12, 1961 in Tecumseh, NE. He was preceded in death by his father, William Ambroz, and his sister, Barbara.
He was a devoted and loving husband to Linda (Johnson), and a devoted father to his son Ethan. He is also survived by his mother, Georgetta J. (Wendt) Ambroz; brothers, Blaine (Kristi), and Bill Jr. along with several nieces and nephews.
Brad was a 1980 graduate of Johnson-Brock High School in Johnson, NE. As a teenager Brad learned welding and this became his career which saw him working in nuclear power stations to working in a salvage expedition off the Florida coast. Brad was previously employed by TIC and Arizona Chemical Plant. Brad was the very proud owner of Independent Mechanical Contractors, a small business that worked at the local saw mills. Brad will be remembered by many for just being a hard-working man of conviction who would drop everything to help family, friend or stranger.
We ask that family, friends, and others whose life Brad touched are invited to the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler, GA 31322, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
