Ruth E Detthof 86 of Allentown,also known as the Candy Lady at the Suoerior Restaurant in Emmaus,passed away April 30,2007 in her residence.Born in Reading,ahe was the daughter of the late Alfred L and Laura (Rissmiller) Detthof.A 1938 graduate of Reading High School,she attended McCann School of Business,Reading.She was a member of Calvary Moravian Church,Allentown.She was a former officer and director of Boots and Saddle Riding Club,Allentown.Ruth was a payroll clerk at Central Pluming and Heating Co.Allentown for many years.Survivors;Brothers John R and his wife Helen Detthof of Bethlehem,Bradford A Detthof with whom she resided,nephew Major Robert Einsel and his wife Nancy of Hershey,grand niece and nephew.
