Lugarda D. Montez 82, of Metcalf, Arizona, passed away July 29, 2004. Preceded in death by Francisco Montez, Lucy Montez, Mary Coleman and Angel Gutierrez. Survived by daughters, Francis Villa, Rosalie (Lance) Clor, Vickie Portillo, Barbara (Alfonso) Rios, Carolina (Franklin) Nabayan and Darlene (Ronald) Cuestas; sons, Tom (Josie) Montez and Robert (Teresa) Montez; sister, Chenta Romero. Also survived by 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO’S TUCSON MORTUARY INC. (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with a service at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
