HARRODSBURG - Services for Robert Lee Hardin, 90, of Harrodsburg, formerly of Washington County, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Paul Readnour. Burial will be in Cornishville Baptist Church Cemetery.
He died Sunday.
Born May 26, 1914, in Washington County, he was a son of the late Colie and Ida Chesser Hardin. He was a retired farmer and beekeeper. He was a member of Willisburg Baptist Church for 50 years and Cornishville Baptist Church for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Sims Hardin; a son, John A. Hardin of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Susie Russell of Willisburg and Judy Harmon of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Reid White, Jeff Harmon, Todd Hardin, Charles Russell, Brad Robinson and Donald Litteral. Honorary pallbearers are Justin White, Chuck Russell, Mikie Whiteneck, Eric Harmon, Casey Robinson, J.D. Jones and Junior Hardin.

Born, May 26, 1914 in Washington County, he was the son of the late Colie
and Ida Chesser Hardin.
He was a retired farmer and honey-bee keeper. He was a member of the
Willisburg Baptist Church for over 50 years and a member of Cornishville
Baptist Church for the last 20 years.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Ruby Sims Hardin; one son, John
(Rita) Allen of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Susie (Junior) Russell of
Willisburg and Judy Harmon of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren; 18
great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and one
great-grandson.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 30 at the Alexander and
Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Readnour officiating. Burial was in the
Cornishville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Reid White, Jeff Harmon, Todd Hardin, Charles Russell, Brad
Robinson and Donald Litteral. Honorary pallbearers were great-grandsons,
Justin White, Chuck Russell, Mikie Whiteneck, Eric Harmon, Casey Robinson,
J.D. Jones and Junior Hardin.
