Mrs. Nathan J(sic) Kern Died Suddenly At Noon.

While Mrs. Nathan J(sic) Kern, wife of the poultry buyer, was at the house of Thomas Fultz, in the southwestern part of town, at 11 o'clock Tuesday a.m., she went out to the cistern to a bucket of water. As she came back to the house it was noticed she was staggering, and when she was asked what was the matter , she replied that her head hurt terribly, and that everything was turning black to her. Mrs. Kern was led to the house and a physician brought as soon as possible,
but she became unconscious, and died within an hour. Dr. Emery pronouced it a case of apoplexy.
Mrs. Kern was 52 years of age. The funeral took place Wednesday. Burial at New Union, near Fayetteville.
