Frances Louise Barnes Chastain, 91, of Kennesaw, died Sunday, July 22, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Friday morning in the Greers Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Therrell officiating. Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park. Mrs. Chastain will lie in state prior to the funeral service at the church from 10:00 until 11:00. Louise was born in Acworth and had lived in Cobb County for most of her life. She was retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Wellstar Kennestone Hospital Emergency Room after 25 years of service and was a member of the Greers Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Barnes (1921-1977) and David Chastain (1920-2007), sons, Larry Barnes and Jeff Barnes, grandson, Dwight Wilson, Jr., and brothers, Dewey Long, Grady Long, Ralph Long, James Edward Long, and Roy Lee Long. Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Ann Wilson of Anchorage, Alaska; siblings, Virginia (Sam) Lambert of Acworth, Howard (Sue) Long of Marietta, Robert (Jewell) Long of Acworth, and Helen Raper of Woodstock; great granddaughter, KeaLaunie Wilson; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Thursday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101
