Dorothy Grace Martin England died Wed. morning, 14th November 2001, at the age of 83 - in her home, with her children and grandchildren gathered round her. Her life had been one of gracious service, humility and love.
As a young woman, she left the home and family she held dear to embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ. The posterity blessed by her courage, conviction and faith number: seven children, 33 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
From girlhood into old age she remained "the height of femininity" and, through much adversity, the embodiment of the noblest womanly virtues. She considered her children her greatest achievement; her fairest crown.
A service to honor her will be held Saturday, 11:30, in the LDS 33rd Ward chapel, 453 South 1100 East.
"Her children arise up and
call her blessed..."
"O death, where is thy sting;
O grave, where is thy victory!"
(1Cor. 15:55)
