Ross Peter Ralphs, 60, died Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. of natural causes while en route to a Bountiful hospital.

He was born August 16, 1892 in Brigham City, a son of Ephraim and Sophia Nelson Ralphs. He married Moselle Raymond on September 23, 1914 in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was an elder in the Canyon Rim LDS Ward at the time of his death. At the age of 8 he moved with his parents to Rockland, Idaho. After his marriage he returned to Salt Lake City. He was a cashier for 25 years for Beneficial Life Insurance Co.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Ross Raymond and George Albert Ralphs, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Alice) Blakesley and Mrs. Patricia Harvey, both of Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Woodruff Ralphs, Preston, Idaho; and a sister, Miss Ada Ralphs, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at 260 E. South Temple. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
