Born September 23, 1934 in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of John and Isabell (Park) Shoop. She was united in marriage to Harold S. Estep Jr. on June 5, 1954. Her husband survives.
She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Shoop of Mapleton Depot; two sons, John Michael Estep of Mount Union and James Allen Estep, at home; a daughter, Mrs. John (Susan K.) Zaludek of Mount Union; a sister, Nell Jaymes of Plainsboro, N.J.; and three grandchildren, Stacy Estep, and Timothy and Kristin Zaludek.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Mount Union, and its womens association.
A 1952 graduate of Captain Jack High School, Mount Union, she was active in the Mount Union Civic Club.
She had been employed as a secretary at Aughwick Machine and Fabricating in Shirleysburg.
Services will be held Monday, December 14, at 11 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church, Mount Union, with the Rev. Elaine P. Africa officiating. Interment will be made in the Mapleton IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m.
