Alta Volpert, 81, of Hot Springs died Sunday, April 18, 2004.
Born May 25, 1922, in Garland County to Henry and Sadie Helms Ashley, she was a homemaker and member of St. John's Catholic Church and VFW Post 4546 Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Joseph E. Volpert; one daughter and two sons-in-law, Virginia and Billy Earl Seward and Roger Garrabrant; three grandchildren, Billy Earl Seward Jr., Angelia Hall and Rinalda Allen Sheets; one great-grandson; one sister, Vida Widner; and one brother, Ralph Ashley.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
