Juanita Fay (Shaw) Holder, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Helia Healthcare, West Frankfort, Il. Juanita was born March 21, 1924, to the late Aud and Ada Shaw of West Frankfort, Illinois.
She is preceded in death by husbands Thomas F. Boyer, and Bernard Holder of West Frankfort, Illinois. Other departed family members are her parents Aud and Ada Shaw, son Larry Dean Boyer, sister, Audrey Acuff of West Frankfort, Illinois, and sisters Hazel Lee and Helen Lipper of Chicago, Illinois.
Juanita worked as a book-keeper for the Smoler Dress Factory once located in West Frankfort and Herrin. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Thomas F. Boyer Jr. and his wife D. Sue Boyer of Evansville, Indiana, grandchildren JaDean Towle of West Frankfort, Illinois, Melissa Benedict of Benton, Illinois, Amy Jo Caddell of Evansville, Indiana, Thomas Dean Boyer of New Albany, Indiana, ten great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at Tower Heights Cemetery, West Frankfort, Illinois on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 10:00 am.
