Barbara Busby age 70 of Joplin passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Joplin Health & Rehab. She was born in Bakersfield, California to Ali Dale Shinn and Lillian (Valek) Shinn on July 28, 1947. Barbara was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband William Busby on December 25, 2011.Survivors include 4 daughters Elizabeth Dupuich (Michael) of Joplin; Suise O'Hamon of California; Ami Busby of Carthage and Erica Busby of Joplin; 3 sons, William Busby of California and Billy Busby and Ryan Busby both from Joplin; a sister Laura Wright of California and several grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Busby has been taken for cremation. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home of Webb City.
