Brenda Sue Herndon age 73 of Lindseyville, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 11, 2018. Mrs. Herndon was born Sept 1, 1944 in Lindseyville, Kentucky to the late Laymon and Lorine Skaggs. She was a retired cashier with Seminole Bingo and a member of Lighthouse General Baptist Church. Mrs. Herndon loved her family dearly and she will be greatly missed.
Among those preceding her in death include her husband Thomas D. Herndon IV; sisters Sarah Skaggs and Linda Spurgeon; and brothers Billy and Wendell Skaggs.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Thomas D. Herndon V; Joe Davenport; and James Davenport; and a daughter Susan Fogarty. Sister Penny Yates; brother Glendle Skaggs; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday July 15, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home, (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with private burial to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at Schoppenhorst Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home.
