Born to Ben and Myrtle Miller and was raised in Colorado Springs.

She met Charles "Chuck" Anderson and was married in Englewood on November, 8, 1947. She then graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1948 and moved to Eglin Army Airbase, Florida in June 1948 to be with Chuck. He was discharged in July 1949 and they moved back to Colorado Springs.

Chuck and Glenna moved to Englewood in November 1950 and their son, Glen, was born on January 10, 1951. They then moved to Thornton in October 1955 and their daughter, Charline, was born on June 6, 1958.

Glenna and Chuck joined Charity Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in November 1961 and Glenna became active and held all star points. She was also Adah for 4 times and was Worthy Matron from 1980-1981.

Glenna and Chuck moved to Parkland Estates in 1989 and when Chuck built the Ice Plant in Barstow, CA he would fly home every other Friday to bring Glenna back with him to Barstow for two weeks. During that time, she got to see a lot of the Grand Canyon.
