Services for L.T. Davis, 77, of Lubbock will be at 3 p.m. today at Resthaven Abbey Chapel with Bill Starcher officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

He died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at Heritage Oaks.

He was born Sept. 11, 1924, in Dawson County. He married Tess Mahaney on May 11, 1946, in Lamesa. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He spent most of his life as a land appraiser.

He was in the Who's Who in the state of Texas in real estate. He had been a resident of Lubbock for more than 48 years and he was a member of Broadway Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tommy Don of Slaton and Doug E. of Lubbock; two sisters, Pauline White of Lamesa and Ruth Bailey of Canton, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
