Carolyn R. Woodruff, 87, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Hamilton Pointe Health and Rehabilitation. She was born May 15, 1931 in Linton, to the late Troy and Ethel (Bradshaw) Keller.

She was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church and participated in their various women’s groups.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Woodruff, and daughter, Patricia Woodruff.

She is survived by daughter, Joyce Schaar (Gary); sons, Alan Woodruff (Anne) and Bruce Woodruff (Lesa); grandchildren, Christen Stanley (James), Jennifer Schaar, Ashleigh Hernandez (Josh), Abigail Schmitt (Chad), Adam Woodruff, Kayla Mayer (Bryan) and Haley Woodruff; and great-grandchildren, Myleigh Hernandez, Lorelai Hernandez and Felix Stanley.

The family would like to thank the staff at Home Instead Senior Care, Hamilton Pointe and Heritage Hospice for their care.

A Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Dr. Gary Schaar, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 4-7 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the funeral home.
