Effie was the daughter of John Ransom O'Dell and Stella Mae Byram

Effie M. Sempsrott, 79, 8801 Lafayette, Indianapolis, Ind. died Saturday in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Services were in the Markwell Funeral Home in Casey. Burial was in Mound Cemetery.

Mrs. Sempsrott was born April 11, 1902 in Jasper County, the daughter of John and Stella (Byram) O’Dell. She married Glenneth Sempsrott in 1921 and he survives.

She was a retired employee of Mallory Electric, Detroit.

Other survivors include a son Loren, Detroit; a daughter, Mrs. Elmyra Field, Olney; three brothers, Don and Joe O’Dell, both of Casey; Darrell O’Dell, Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Ester Keller, Stoy; Jessie
Livingston, Willow Hill; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son Glenn, who died in 1971.
