Mrs. Elizabeth M. Matice, age 91, died Friday, April 12, 1968 at 8 P.M. in Peoria. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. She was born in Adams County, Jan. 28, 1877, a daughter of James and Catherine Galliher Reid. She first married Oct. 12, 1895 to Henry Kemp. He died in 1913. She next married Walter Matice on Jan 12, 1917. He died in 1963. Surviving are a son, Merlin Kemp of Peoria; four daughters, Mrs. William Harms of Peoria, Miss Edna Kemp of Washington, Illinois, Mrs. Marshall McCullough of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Horace Kellar of Peoria; Two stepsons, Earl Matice and Joe Matice, both of Hamilton; a sister, Mrs. Alice Barry of Elgin; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
