The Akron News:
Solomon Yarian was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, February 4, 1843; and died April 14, 1904, aged 61 years, 8 months, 10 days.
He was the fourth child of a family of nine children, seven boys and two girls, of which three brothers and one sister survive him. November 27, 1865 Solomon Yarian was united in marriage to Elizabeth Smith, of Miami Co., Indiana, to them were given four children, Franklin, Henry, John Yarian and Emma Flohr, all of which have grown up to manhood and womanhood and are living. Over thirty years ago Solomon Yarian gave his heart to God and united with the Evangelical church and lived a devoted, faithful member the remainder of his life. In his church life, he was unassuming, quiet, but always found where duty called him. As a neighbor and citizen he was one among the best. He was a kind husband and an indulgent father, ever looking to the welfare of his family. He leaves a wife, four children and many friends and neighbors to mourn his early departure.
Funeral services were held in the Evangelical church Saturday afternoon, April 16, 1904, conducted by Rev. Weyrick, from Job 14 chapter, 1-2 verses.
A beautiful floral design and bouquet were furnished by the members of the Sabbath school of which Mr. Yarian was a member for many years.
