Robert B. Moore (Bob) passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2017 at the age of 83.

He was born on March 22, 1933 in Park Rapids, Minnesota to Violet and Russell Moore.

He graduated from Akeley HS, in Akeley Minnesota in 1951, but not before meeting his future bride. In 1952, Bob married Lois M. Geving (of Walker, Minnesota). She was the love of his life and his soulmate. Together they shared 64 wonderful years of marriage, 4 children, and a lifetime of love and memories.

Bob went on to serve our country in the United States Army. after his time in the military, the family moved to the Pacific Northwest to reside in Tacoma, WA. He briefly studied accounting at Pacific Lutheran University before starting his own real Estate company, Moore Professional Realty. He then went on to build 'Moore Construction,' a company that would ultimately inspire him to build their current home. In 1980, he started the Double 4 Tree Farm with his brother-in-law Bob Geving. The tree farm was his pride and joy for many years and it still remains in the family.

After retiring in 1996, Bob and Lois decided to purchase a second home in Sun City, Arizona where they spent 17 years as snowbirds, traveling to be in the warm Arizona Sun during the winter months.
In his free time, he enjoyed swimming, traveling, and trips to Laughlin and Reno to enjoy the card tables and the lights and sounds of the slots!

Bob was a kind and generous man. He was a loving and devoted husband and father, the true definition of an honorable and compassionate gentleman. He was an exemplary role model to his children, never wavering in his constant love and support. He was a storyteller by nature and his sense of humor put a smile on the faces of many. His infectious grin and genuine spirit will truly be missed.

Bob was preceeded in death by his parents, Violet and Russell, and three brothers Leslie, Donald, and Glendon.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Lois, two sisters Shirley Samson and Beverly Menz, four children Bobby (Jan) Moore, Bill Moore, Barbie (Michael) Romes, and DeeDee (Wayne) Presnell, as well as 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
