Betty Frances Gresham, 70, Cross Plains, Tenn., died March 15, 2004.
A native of Monroe County, she was a daughter of Helen (Hagan) Bartley, Tompkinsville, and the late William C. "Bill Carl" Bartley, and the wife of Roy Gresham, who also survives. They had been married 51 years.
A 1952 graduate of Tompkinsville High School, she held a degree in interior design and was a co-founder and former president of the Cross Plains Chamber of Commerce. She also was a member of the White House Church of Christ.
Other than her husband and mother, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Royetta and Randy Rogers, Cross Plains; four sons and daughters-in-law — Jimmy and Melissa Gresham, Henderson, Tenn.; Francis and Diane Gresham, Cross Plains; Bobby and Diana Gresham, Cottontown, Tenn.; and Ricky Gresham, Cross Plains, and his ex-wife, Debbie, White House, Tenn.; a brother, Lloyd Bartley, Tompkinsville; nine grandsons and three granddaughters-in-law, Barry and Tiffany Honeycutt, Rodney and Becca Honeycutt, Jeremy Gresham, Shannon and Alesha Gresham, Robert Gresham, Kasey Allen, Joshua Gresham, Justin Gresham and Austin Allen; two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Jennifer and Adam Goostree and Brooke Gresham; and five great-grandchildren, Dalton and Suzanna Honeycutt, Kelby and Gracie Adams and Jillian Goostree.
Two brothers, Charles Fred Bartley and Harold Bartley, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Thursday, March 18), at the Austin and Bell Funeral Home in White House, with Bro. William Richardson and Dr. Allan Walker officiating. Burial will be at the White House Memorial Gardens.
