The funeral of Wallace H Bassett, who passed away Saturday, was held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Walton's chapel, to Linwood cemetery. Dr. J.F. Clokey officiated at the services.
The deceased was born November 23, 1879, at Omaha, Neb. He had been in failing health for some time. His death is mourned by his wife and one daughter, living in Dubuque, his mother, Mrs. G.C. Bassett, of Omaha, and one sister, Mrs. A.W. Ruff, of Kenilworth. The deceased was a son-in-law of the late Jacob J. Schreiner, who passed away last Thursday.

Married Etta Schreiner in 1907. Daughter Lois born in 1909/1910
