Mark R. Critchfield, born in Oakley, Idaho, to Roland Abram and Hazel Kathleen Critchfield. Married Gloria Pacheco, August 17, 1966.
Mark was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the navy aboard the USS Maddox. He was a post commander and one of the builders of VFW Post 3586.

Mark was a former president of WBBA and heavily involved in BMX bike racing. He owned and operated his own business, Larkus Inc. He attended Utah State University and graduated from Salt Lake Business College. He was deeply loved by his best friend, Cody.

He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; children, Roland Critchfield, Mindy (Michael) Thomas, Reed (Karla) Critchfield, Kim Critchfield, John (Denise) Harrison, Randy (Kathy) Harrison; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services Friday, July 2, 1999, 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd). Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East and Friday, one hour prior to services at Mountain View. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates.
