Thomas S. Sanford, 92, who came to Arizona 75 years ago from Mineral City, Tex., and had developed mining claims, died Sunday in Sacred Heart Home, where he had resided the past year.
Mr. Sanford had lived in the Globe-Miami and Bradshaw Mountain areas. He was born in Bee County, Tex.
Survivors include nine nieces, Mrs. Drucilla Lott, Mrs. Leslie Oxley and Mrs. Pat DeWitt, all of Phoenix and Mrs. Susan Swanson and Mrs. Sammy Thompson of Yuma, and four nieces out of state.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale.
