Emily J. "Grammy" Scaife

Emily Jane "Grammy" Scaife, 77, went home to the Lord on July 30, 2014. Born Feb. 25, 1937, in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Clyde and Gula (Young) Bardo. Emily attended Jersey Shore schools and worked at Carey McFalls and Brodarts. This beautiful, caring and hilarious woman enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City, long car rides out in the country, visiting the beaches of Florida, playing bingo and galavanting around downtown Williamsport on her wheelchair. Loved by so many that remain here on earth are a daughter, Deb (Gene) Bartlett; three sons, Rick (Christy), Jimmy, and Scott (Renee); eight grandchildren, Kelly, Tim, Rily, AJ, Jeremy, Tyler, Amber, and Robert; and three great-grandchildren Mason, Sydney, and Adryanna. She was preceded to her Heavenly home by her parents, and three brothers Clyde, Robert and Richard. In keeping with Emily’s wishes, there will be no services, but always remember her beautiful smile and laugh, and hold special memories close. Please keep the Scaife family in your thoughts and prayers. Be blessed.
