Pleasant, Iowa died 9:25 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his home.Born August 6, 1947 in Iowa City, Iowa he was the son of Willis N. and Thelma Gwen (Hutchcroft) Despain.He married Linda Sawyer on May 5, 1978 in Oquawka, Illinois.Brian was a graduate of Mediapolis High School and attended Culver Academy Military School in Culver, Indiana. He worked for Wal-Mart Distribution in Mt. Pleasant for over 15 years. He was of the Methodist faith.He loved to fish, was a gun enthusiast, collected coins and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes.He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Brandy in infancy and one sister Nancy Miller.
