A native of Conyers, GA; daughter of the late William Henry Mason Austin (1851–1913) and Emma Hardin Austin (1864–1905); wife of Marvin Edward Panell (1900–1995) married in 1924.
A retired secretary and member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors also include her daughter, Lelia Austin Panell Cornwell (1935–1998); and two grandsons.
Graveside services were held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 4, 1981, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Clarence D. Williams.
