He was born February 19, 1912 at Raywick, Kentucky, and married the former Lenore Tomlinson, November 30, 1940 at Burlington, Iowa.
He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church at Alexis and was employed by the Wilson-Sinclair Packing Company at Monmouth, Illinois.
Surviving are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Gloria) Josserand of Springfield; Mrs. Richard (Kay) DeBuysere of Milan, and Mrs. Donald (Bonnie) Greene of Springfield, Virginia; seven grandchildren; a brother, Francis A. Carrico of Roseville; six sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Finch of Roseville, and Miss Mallie Carrico, Mrs. Howard Mathewson, Mrs. Don Dean and Mrs. Della McCleary, all of Bushnell, and Mrs. Lyle Berry, of Lewistown.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church at Alexis with Rev. Richard Slavish officiating. Prayers will be said Sunday at 8 p.m. at McKnight Funeral Home. The family will be at the Carrico home at Alexis. Burial will be at Alexis Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity and no flowers are requested, the family said.
