He was a graduate of Mt. Horeb High School and attended UW-Whitewater. Doug was a proud member of the US Air Force and was stationed in Germany during the Viet Nam War. Doug was an avid lover of playing Cribbage and Euchre, watching old westerns and collecting watches. He was a member of AA and celebrated over 25 years of sobriety. His loved ones will miss his dry (and often naughty) sense of humor and his generosity towards others.
Doug is survived by his sister, Diane Woodbury, stepmother Grace Aavang, nephew Jason (Tammy) Woodbury, niece, Lindsey Woodbury, grandnephews, Johnathan and Jackson Woodbury and many extended family members and friends. Doug was preceded in death by his parents.
