Adam F. Nies, a lifelong resident and well known stone mason of the North Side, died Thursday at his home, 1004 McBride st., after four days' Illness. Mr. Nies was born 40 years ago in the same house where his death occurred. When a young man he entered into the stone contracting business with his father and upon the death of the elder Nies continued the business. He was a member of Court Central City, No. 322, Foresters of America, and Salt City Council No.78, Senior O. U. A. M. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Adam Nies, and two sisters, Misses Katherine and Christina Nies, all of Syracuse. Funeral services will be held privately Sunday at 2:30 p m.
