Funeral services for Sadie S. Williams Manning, 100, of Marshall will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Ward Chapel AME Church with the Rev. M.C. Muse officiating. Burial will be in Longridge Cemetery in Waskom under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Mrs. Manning died Monday, April 23, 2007, at her residence. She was born Aug. 27, 1906, in Marshall to Ireland Williams and Lucy Price Williams. Mrs. Manning was a retired seamstress and a homemaker. She was a member of of Ward Chapel AME Church. Survivors include her seven daughters, Lucy M. McClellan, Myrtle Clark, Velma Sparks, Johnette Cooper, Ruby Abercrumbie, Geneva Seay, all of Marshall, and Sadie C. Johnson of Fort Worth; two sons, Carl E. Manning of Marshall and Lawrence Manning of Fort Worth; sister, Annie Clark of Dallas; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Lewis Funeral Home
