They had nine children in 31 years. He died on November 11, 1919, at the age of 82. He was a farmer. Children were daughters Anna, Frances, Mary, and Margaret Barbara(died in infancy), and sons Adam Jr., Michael, Wendell, John and William. His father came from Alsace-Lorraine France and his mother from Germany. He was buried on 13Nov1919.
