Aaron Howard Stauffenberg, age 87, of Roanoke passed away Saturday. He was retired owner and operator of a service station. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor C. Stauffenberg; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Jean) Smith, Roanoke; Mrs. Lance (Gladys) Wachille, Jersey City, N.J.; one son, Aaron H. Stauffenberg Jr., East Brunswick, N.J.; stepson, William Ray Caul, North Granby, Conn.; granddaughter, Mrs. Barry (Sharon) Fogel, Vinton; five grandsons and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 1991, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Charles A. Watkins and Dr. Thomas Cribb will officiate. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
