James Alonzo McClure, 74, of Valdese died Sunday July 23, 2006 at Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, after a period of declining health.
Mr. McClure was born May 5, 1932 in Ashe County to William Edward and Minnie Lou Eller McClure.
He was retired from Alba-Waldensian Inc. as a fixer and truck driver.
In addition to his parents Alonzo was preceded in death by his wife Alice Lowman McClure, a son Kyle Edward McClure, a sister Rozina Hodge and a brother, Paul Woodrow McClure.
Interment followed in the Abee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
