Thomas Alva Bell was born in Oakhurst, OK on October 29. 1937 to the late Vane Otto Bell and Lucille Mable (Anderson) Bell. He was raised and educated in the Kiefer, OK and Mounds, OK area, and joined the United States Army in 1956.
Thomas worked as a welder and fabricator the majority of his life until his retirement. He moved from Sapulpa to Drumright in 2010.
He was preceded in death by four brothers Charles, Robert, Vane Jr. and Leonard Bell; a sister Mamie Wiley; great-grandchild Brylee Watson and second wife, Lora Alice (Wilkett) Harris-Bell.
He leaves behind his wife, Jo Lea (Degraffenreed) Bell of Drumright; his children Sandra Vanderslice and husband Ross of Bristow, Tommy Bell and wife Brenda of Sand Springs, Steve Bell and wife Debbie of Bristow, Mike Bell of North Dakota; their mother, Rosetta Mae (Abbott) Weaver of Kellyville; grandchildren Amanda, Racheal, Aubrey, Zack, Paige, Shelby, Morgan; sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Gerald Ann Lopez of Wilberton; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
