He was born June 1, 1917, in St. Louis to the late Nicholas Arb and Mathilda Schwendman.
He was retired from Emerson Electric in St. Louis. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Loretta Roediger Arb, whom he married June 9, 1945, in Columbia.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 16 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Columbia. Lawlor Funeral Home in Columbia handled the arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the building fund at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia.
