Marie T. Creedan, 89, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Westborough where she had been a resident for several years. Born in Hopkinton, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Eleanor (Simonds) Creedan.

Marie lived nearly all of her life in Hopkinton. She attended Hopkinton schools and graduated from Walnut Hill School, Natick in 1944. She went on to Brown University and graduated in 1948. She worked many years at the law firm of Sullivan and Sullivan in Framingham. She was a volunteer at St. Patricks Manor, Framingham and was a longtime parishioner at St. Johns Church, Hopkinton.

She is survived by her first cousin Katherine (Shaughessy) Scheifele of California and several other cousins.

The funeral will be held on Friday November 20, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home, (www.callanancronin.com) 34 Church St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Donations: St. Johns Church, 20 Church St. Hopkinton, MA. 01748.
