McDonald, TN - Mrs. Mary Warlick Sims, 96, widow of William Joseph Sims, formerly of McDonald and Chattanooga, TN, died Saturday, June 30, 1962 at the home of her son, Willard Sims, Chicago Heights, IL, following a four-month illness.

Mrs. Sims, who had lived with her son the past 12 years, lived at McDonald, TN for 30 years and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Willard Sims of Chicago Heights, IL and Walter L. Bowen of Hixson, TN; two stepsons, Elmer W. Sims of Chicago, IL and Oliver J. Sims of Gary, IN; 12 grandchildren, including Ed Bowen, McDonald; U.G. Bowen, Jr., Richard Bowen, Rev. Roy T. Bowen and Virgil Bowen, all of Chattanooga, TN, and Mrs. Francis Wood, Lakeview, GA.

The body will arrive at Chattanooga Funeral Home Tuesday at 3 p.m., July 3, 1962, where services will be held Wednesday, July 4, 1962 at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Percy Maples of Cleveland, TN, will officiate.

Burial will be in the Lee Cemetery at McDonald, TN.
