Mrs Sophia Botzenhart passed away at her home with her daughter Mrs. Edward Schiff 406 North Street at 4:20 Wednesday afternoon at the age of 88 years. She had been a resident of Shelby Co. for 64 years living for many years on a farm in Jackson township where she reared a family of twelve children, nine of whom are still living.

The funeral service will be Saturday morning leaving the home at 9:00 O'clock. The service held in the Lutheran Church at Montra, 10 O'clock where she was a charter mwmber having been a member of that congegation for about 64 years. She had the distinction of seeing her posterity into the fifth generation. She is survived by nine Children, 52 grandchildren, 102 great-grandren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

With her death in the saving faith in her Lord the Master's word of promise goes into fulfillment. She rests from her labor and her good works follow her.
