Max Badtke, 59, formerly of Cedarburg, Wis., passed away Thursday at St. Nicholas hospital after being ill for the past several months.
Deceased was born in Germany on June 19, 1881 and came to America with his parents as a boy and located here. After finishing school he learned the [ ] trade which he followed for many years. For the past [ ] years however, he had been a [ ] on the Milwaukee Northern [ ].
In 1910 he was married to Emma Bunke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bunke of this city and she preceded him in death eight years ago.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Walter Burrow of Fenton, Mich.; a son, Eldred of Cedarburg; [ ] grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Schirmeister of Sheboygan.
