He was born on Feb. 20, 1950, in Wilkes-Barre. He was the son of the late Joseph and Irene Olszewski Dwojewski.
He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and "tax guy" who owned and operated B&L Tax Services.
Knobsy was from the Heights section of Wilkes-Barre and graduated from Marymount High School in 1968.
He was a journeyman lineman for Sordoni Construction and then was later employed by Service Electric for many years.
He was an avid baseball player who played on many local softball teams. He was a lover of blackjack at the casino and sports, especially rooting for his favorite Philadelphia teams.
He was a loyal friend, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, especially if his MacGyver skills were needed. His quick-witted sense of humor will be missed by many.

Surviving are his sons, Robert Steven Dwojewski and his wife, Lisa, Lehighton; and Matthew Dwojewski, West Pittston; daughters, Michal Ann Dwojewski and her partner, David Gower, Nanticoke; and Sara Elizabeth Dwojewski and her partner, Ryan Hiltwine, Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Amy and Robert Dwojewski, Skyller Dwojewski and Zack Gower; brother, Joseph Dwojewski and his wife, Arlene, Shavertown; sister, Barbara Wilson and her partner, Charlie Perrella, Hanover Twp.; partner, Susan "Bubba" Davis, Wilkes-Barre; and loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday from Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Hope Parish, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. The Rev. John S. Terry, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming.
