Mrs. A. C. Brister, 74, of Pineville, died at the family residence today, May 2, 1944, at 4 a.m. She is survived by her husband, A. C. Brister; two sons, T. C. Brister of Pineville, and Alton Brister with the U.S. Army in England; four daughters, Mrs. J. Hugh Smith of Pineville, Mrs. J. C. Perkins of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Albert Marshall of Brownsville, Texas, and Mrs. A. K. Ammen of Alexandria; two brothers, Joe and George Adams of Sikes; and one sister, Mrs. Mary [sic Nancy] McCarty of Sikes.

Funeral services will be held at Pineville Baptist church Wednesday, May 3, at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park under the direction of Hixson Brothers.
