Memorial services will be March 24, at Grace United Methodist Church in Alamogordo, NM, for Bertha Bohannon Hall of Alamogordo. Hall, 79, died March 20 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. Cremation has taken place. She was born on August 3, 1920, in Mesilla, NM, the daughter of Virgil and Dovie Bohannon. She graduated from Western New Mexico University and taught in Dona Ana. She married James Maynard Hall on June 30, 1940. She was active in the Laureate Alpha Gamma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, where she received a master's degree, the Golden Circle, the Order of the Rose and the Silver Circle. Survivors include sons ; daughters; sister; brother; sister-in-law; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brother, Virgil C. Bohannon Jr.
