The funeral for Edward J Mason, retired carpenter, of 107 W 8th St, Newport, will be held at the Fred A Erschell & Sons Funeral Home, Newport, Wednesday at 2 pm. Rev Harold W Barkhau will officiate. Mr Mason died Monday night at his home following a short illness. He leaves his widow, Mrs Julia Mason; one son, Edward Mason; three sisters, Mrs Adolph Pirman,& Mrs John Schneider, both of Cold Spring, & Mrs Joseph Dameron, Mt Carmel, Oh; & one grandchild.
