Services to celebrate the life of Lillie Mae (Thrasher) Odle, 97, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday at Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Corinth, Alcorn Co., MS.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, Corinth, MS and Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Odle died at her residence on June 22, 2018, surrounded by family.
She was born on May 21, 1921, to the late John Robert and Lula (Leatherwood) Thrasher.
She was the oldest member of Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she loved having carport sales.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Cecil Odle; granddaughter, Sharon (Glisson) Maxie; sisters, Lizzie Lee (Thrasher) Linville and Alylene (Thrasher) Nelms; and a son-in-law, James Archie Glisson.
She is survived by her two-children, daughter, Donnie Glisson of Willis, TX; and son, Ronnie Odle (Vicki) of Corinth, MS; grandchildren, Shelia Gay (Edd) of Conroe, TX, James Glisson, Jr. of Willis, TX, Wesley Odle, Whitney Spencer (Brian) all of Corinth, MS and Morgan Jones (Tyler) of Monks Corner, SC; great-grandchildren, Holly Armstrong (Allistar), Matthew Gay, Zack Maxie, Olinia Spencer, Brenna Spencer, Marli Spencer, Bayliegh Spencer, Klay Spencer; brother, Bobby Thrasher (Syble) of Corinth, MS; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
