Dean A. Bagley, age 78, died June 28, 1991 after a long illness in the Gunnison Valley Hospital.
Born February 12, 1913 in Greenwich, Utah to George Alma Bagley and Mary Elizabeth Winget Bagley. He married Ada Sorenson November 10, 1937 in the Manti LDS Temple. He graduated from South Sevier High School. He was a former Piute County Commissioner. He was a retired farmer and cattleman and he also retired from the U.S. Forest Services. He was an active member of the LDS church, where he held many positions. He was a High Priest in the Koosharem Ward at the time of his death. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by wife, Ada, Greenwich; one daughter and three sons, Gloria Larsen, Orem; Roger Dean Bagley, Cedar City; Richard V. Bagley, Monroe; Bob R. Bagley, Aurora; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Reed (Lula) Payne, Glenwood, ut; Mrs. Raymond (Ione) Black, Orem; Mrs. George (Alean) Sevy, Perry; Mrs. Don (Leola) Herzog, Salt Lake City; Lynn Bagley, Greenwich; Rolland Bagley, Greenwich; and Keith Bagley, Layton. Preceded in death by a son-in-law, James Larsen and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 1991, at 12:00 noon, in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel in Koosharem, Utah. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary in Richfield, and at the ward chapel in Koosharem on Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Utah.
