Frankie Jean Jackson Murray departed this life Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her home at the age of 83 years old.

A native of Hardeman County, Mrs. Murray was the daughter of the late Hoby Jackson and Eula Grantham Jackson. She moved to Gallatin, Tennessee 37 years ago with her husband, Sam Murray, who survives. She moved back to Hardeman County seven years ago to be with her family in her later years.

She was a homemaker and loved gardening, canning vegetables and fishing. She was a special and one-of-a-kind aunt. She will be missed dearly. Mrs. Murray was a Baptist in belief and a Christian woman.

In addition to her husband, survivors include four nieces, Karen Hooper (Larry) of Toone, Sherry Jackson of Saulsbury, Diane Jackson of Saulsbury and Margo Jackson Tims (Richard) of Toone; a nephew, Jeff Jackson of Union City; a great niece, Ashley Hooper of Toone; three great nephews, Tyler Jackson of Saulsbury, and Seth and Samuel Tims of Toone; and a special sister-in-law, JoAnne Jackson Forshea.

She was also preceded in death by a late husband, Armon Davis; and a son, tim Davis, whom she adopted when he was three years old; and three grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held with family members at Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
