Donald Clifford Hunter, 93 passed away Thursday, June 20, 2018.
Donald was born December 25, 1924 in Bennington, Idaho a son of Annie Mae Smeath and Clifford Hunter.
He graduated from Montpelier High School. During his life time he moved a lot, living in Oregon, Idaho and Utah. Don proudly served his country during WWII in the Marines. Don married his sweetheart Betty Jean Stock January 2, 1946 in the Logan LDS Temple.
When his children were in high school, he started college at the age of 40 and graduated from the University of Utah with a master’s degree in Social Work.
Don was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was an active member serving in many positions: Bishop, Branch President, serving two Spanish Speaking Missions with his sweetheart to Orlando, FL and Los Angeles, CA. He was a guide at the Paris, Idaho Tabernacle for 25 years.
Don loved going to his home in Bear Lake this is where he considered home. Don was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and working outside, he was close to his family and enjoyed the time spent together. Don tried to teach his family the valuable lesson of living within their means.
Surviving are his daughter Dorci C. Benally, Salt Lake City, UT; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife Betty, daughter Ann E. Rawlings and son John S. Hunter.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Fish Haven Cemetery, Fish Haven, ID.
A viewing will be Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT.
