Felix "Bud" Peter Biver


Felix "Bud" Peter Biver, Berwyn, Ill., died April 17, 2007, at the Lombard Health Care Center in Lombard, Ill. He was 89 years old.
He was born in the town of Bashaw to Felix and Theresia (Hanisch) on July 4, 1917.

He attended the Bashaw Valley School. Later joined the U.S. Army serving during World War II. Felix spent his life in Berwyn, Ill., as a plumber in Union Local 130 in the Chicago area until retirement. He was a member of St. Mary Celle Church in Berwyn, Ill.

Felix enjoyed his annual visits to the farm and family in Wisconsin, Las Vegas, the race tracks and going to the riverboats.

Bud was preceded in death by brothers John, Charles, Frank and Joseph; sisters Anne (Henry) Vogel, Sophie (Edwin) Hanson, Marie (Hugo) Edwall and Catherine Biver.
Bud is survived by sister Rose Ouska, Berwyn, Ill.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on April 25 with Father Andrew P. Ricci as celebrant. Music was provided by Sister Dominica Effertz and the St. Francis de Sales Choir. Interment followed at Calvary Cemetery in Spooner. Casket bearers were John, Tom, Ted, and Jim Biver, Frank Biver Jr. and William LaPage.

The Scalzo-Taylor Funeral Home, Spooner, was entrusted with arrangements.
